Navigating to and around Ramaiah's Gnanagangothri campus
Being located in the heart of the city, Ramaiah Medical College is very easily accessible by a variety of travel options.
AIRPORT
Kempegowda International Airport is 29km away which is made easy to reach by the Airport shuttle services provided by the BMTC (schedule is available on the mybmtc.karnataka.gov.in website).
The shuttle service connects the Airport bus station with larger bus stations in the city from where autos/cabs/other bus routes can help you reach the venue easily.
RAILWAY STATION
This is arguably the most convenient option with the Yeshwantpur railway station being a mere 3.2km away from the college campus. Autos and cabs are easily available from all major cab aggregators from the railway station and buses ply at regular intervals as well.
BUS STATION
Majestic bus stand is 9km from the campus, but the metro connectivity makes the travel extremely convenient. Majestic metro station offers direct connectivity to Sandal Soap metro station, which is only about 3km away from the Ramaiah campus via the green line (towards Nagasandara). From Sandal Soap metro station, autos/cabs and regular buses are available to reach the venue.
Once on campus, you should find it pretty easy to navigate. Of course, you're welcome to explore, but as far as the events are concerned, you only really need to know where two buildings are -- the medical college building and the Advanced Learning Centre.
You'll see the ALC on your immediate right when entering the campus through the main gate (Gate 2). If you follow the road to the end and take a left, you'll find the medical college.
Taking the stairs down to basement level from the main road will lead you into Food Street, where you can grab a drink or a bite to eat. If you need to buy stationery, Xeroxes, files, almost anything at all, head to Food Street!
